How To Prepare: You should bring every medication with you, any documents from hospitalizations or surgeries, and any questions you have. 

Why We Do A Cardiology Consultation:

You will be asked both general health questions and some more specific questions related to the reason for your visit. A physical examination follows, and if necessary the doctor might order further testing. The cardiologist might prescribe medication or provide your family doctor with recommendations. In other situations, you may be referred to a cardiovascular surgeon or other specialist.
